As generative artificial intelligence tools become widespread across e-commerce and digital design, we maintain a clear and firm boundary: our crochet patterns, stitch logic, design diagrams, and core creative work are 100% human-designed, human-written, and human-tested.

This policy outlines our commitments regarding how AI technologies are—and are not—utilized in our design and business workflows.

2. WHERE AI IS NEVER USED

To preserve technical precision, maker satisfaction, and creative integrity, snorstudio strictly prohibits the use of Generative AI in the following core creative domains:

  • Pattern Calculations & Stitch Logic: AI models frequently hallucinate mathematically impossible stitch counts, invalid row structures, and non-functional shaping. All stitch counts, sizing grading, and construction steps in our PDF guides are calculated and verified exclusively by human designers and technical editors.

  • Core Product Photography & Physical Renders: We do not generate deceptive AI fake-crochet images to represent finished items. Our pattern visuals and photo guides reflect real stitches, real yarn textures, and actual physical outcomes.

  • Design Conceptualization & Pattern Writing: The written instructions, stitch keys, and diagrams included in our digital downloads are authored entirely by human fiber artists.

3. RESPONSIBLE AND LIMITED AI USE

We utilize limited, non-creative AI tools strictly for backend, administrative, and operational support to streamline business efficiency. These uses include:
